Drive-In / Drive-Through Pallet Rack

Drive-In pallet rack systems are a cost-effective solution to high-density storage. This static system has rails running the depth of the rack for pallet placement. The only limitation to the depth of pallet storage is the capability to drive deep within the system. The rack depth reduces the need for aisles and drastically increases cubed space utilization. Possible to be used for Last-in-First-out (LIFO) or First-in-First-out (FIFO)

Drive-in racking is ideal for like products with low levels of turnover and a high number of pallets per article type. A minimum number of aisles is needed for forklift maneuver, so the most available floor plan can be used for storage.		Drive-In pallet racking can also be used in the construction of rack supported warehouses, whose characteristic is that they may not require the existence of a building prior to construction.
	Two management systems are available: the drive-in system, with only one access aisle, which would accomadate for (LIFO), and the drive-through system, with access to the load from both sides of the rack, which would accomadate for (FIFO)..
